Participants will be introduced to Adobe Creative Cloud and complete short self-paced projects that provide the opportunity to produce artifacts they can use to improve their digital literacy skills and prepare them for their lives after they finish their UTSA journey.

  • Identify the tools in Photoshop for editing photos. 
  • Create a photo collage by editing photos in Photoshop.  
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of layers.  
• Vector Graphics Fundamentals: 
  • Select the appropriate tools in Illustrator for illustrated objects. 
  • Design a vector graphic of a simple object using Adobe Illustrator. 
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator. 
• Print Design Fundamentals: 
  • Identify the various options for typography and graphic layout.  
  • Design multipage layouts using Adobe InDesign. 
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of Adobe InDesign. 
• Video Editing and Content Creation: 
  • Discover the impact of video media on self-promotion. 
  • Create content for YouTube. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to edit in Premiere Rush. 
• Critical Thinking and Application: 
  • Apply graphic design principles and skills across various software and tools. 
  • Analyze design choices and their effectiveness in real-world projects. 
  • Create compelling visual and multimedia content for diverse purposes
