Are you looking for summer research experience? Consider applying to the National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (NSF REU). The NSF REU supports students in STEM and the social sciences to become involved in research in meaningful ways in ongoing research programs or in research projects at host universities across the US. REUs provide housing, travel a living stipend and mentorship. Applications open in early spring and students are encouraged to apply early.

In this info session, we will learn about:

-Eligibility and when to apply

-What does the NSF REU fund

-Tips for applying this year

-Tips for applying in a future year

 

Anyone is welcome to attend the info session, even if you anticipate applying in a future year and want to know what you can do in the mean time to prepare.
