The SOE was founded in Fall 2022 by students in conjunction with the UTSA Department of Economics. As the dedicated community for those interested in economics and related fields, we accomplish our goals by hosting over a dozen events each semester for our members and the general UTSA population.

We host several guest speakers each semester from the academic, private, and public sectors to provide insights into the workforce and navigating higher education. Furthermore, we organize several social events every month including movie nights, game nights, study events, hikes, and small-group workshops.
