About

The UTSA School of Art offers a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art, a Master of Arts in Art History, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, a Bachelor of Arts in Art, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Criticism, as well as a Minor in Art History and Criticism. The College of Liberal and Fine Arts also offers a Minor in Museum Studies. These degree programs subscribe to the College of Liberal and Fine Arts Signature Experience through practical experience achieved in the following courses: ART 4833 Internship in the Visual Arts, ART 4983 B.F.A. Senior Seminar and Exhibition, and AHC 4933 Art Gallery and Museum Internship. UTSA is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. UTSA’s two exhibition spaces, The UTSA Art Gallery (located at the 1604 Campus) and the Russell Hill Rogers Galleries  (located in downtown on the UTSA Southwest Campus inside the Santikos building) are dedicated to a wide variety of programs serving undergraduate and graduate students as well as the San Antonio community.

Our faculty, graduate students and alumni continue to greatly impact the Texas and the national art community, through exhibitions, publications and curatorial projects.
