Fraternity|Sorority Life membership helps to spread pride in UTSA by promoting a sense of purpose and a sense of accomplishment outside of your academic achievements. Fraternity|Sorority membership fosters many skills and attributes such as a sense of belonging, leadership skills, academic achievement, athletic participation, social outlets, character development, as well as interpersonal skills. With the combination of commuter students, long distances from family members and record numbers of first time college students, membership in the Fraternity|Sorority community can add a much needed sense of stability to student’s lives. With over 10 million Americans being a part of these communities you could have an inside track to post-graduation job placement or have a connection to find that career you want.

We as members of Fraternity|Sorority Life at UTSA hold our members to a higher standard. Fraternity|Sorority Life enhances the college experience by cultivating leaders through increased exposure to scholastic, philanthropic, and social opportunities, while establishing life long relationships.
UTSA Fraternity|Sorority Life History
The Fraternity|Sorority community at the University of Texas at San Antonio was first established in 1977. Since that time it has been a tremendous asset to the University and the students. The University of Texas at San Antonio’s Fraternity|Sorority community offers fellowship, scholarship, participation in campus activities, leadership training, service to the community and to the University, social outlets and preparation for future careers. Fraternity|Sorority Life also provides an excellent opportunity to foster bonds of friendship that will last for a lifetime.
