Sigma Lambda Beta (ΣΛΒ) is a Latino-based social fraternity with multicultural membership, established on cultural understanding and wisdom. Founded on April 4, 1986, at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, the organization is committed to creating and expanding multicultural leadership, promoting academic excellence, and advancing cultural awareness and service while influencing its mission among all dedicated collegiate men worldwide. With over 132 entities consisting of colonies, chapters, and alumni associations across the country and in Puerto Rico, Sigma Lambda Beta is the largest Fraternal Latino Greek Lettered intercollegiate organization in America.
The Lambda Delta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. was founded at the University of Texas at San Antonio on May 31, 2008.
