A fun club that strives to teach the sport of fencing to anyone regardless of prior experience. We provide basic equipment to all current UTSA students free of charge. For use of the club's more advanced equipment, membership is required along with the payment of club dues. For those that are competitive, the club does compete with other universities in a conference called SWIFA. We compete against major universities like UT, A&M, Texas State, and others. Come check us out sometime, constant attendance is not required to be a member.
Practice Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 6:30pm -9:45 p.m. @ Blue Studio inside Recreation & Wellness Center.
Directions to the Blue Studio:
From the parking lot - Take the stairs to your left-hand side to the second floor, you will walk pass the gym floor. Once there, head down the hallway to your left. The studio is located almost all the way down, close to the demo kitchen. You will pass the track and a few other rooms.
From the fields - Take the spiral staircase to your left. Once on the second floor, go down the hallway to your right. It'll be the first door on your left when you pass the archway.
